Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Kralendijk. From here, we'll begin this scenic tour, where we'll explore the coast of northern Bonaire, enjoying the fabulous views of the Caribbean Sea. Let's go!
We'll pass by Oil Slick Leap, where the steep limestone terraces will show us the island's geological history. Then, we'll make our first stop of the tour at 1000 Steps, the beach where we'll admire the crystal-clear waters that bathe the cliffs. It's a natural spectacle!
We'll continue our route toward Gotomeer Lake, a flamingo sanctuary surrounded by green hills. Afterward, we'll search for the town of Rincón, located in a valley in the interior of the island, home to one of the oldest towns in the Netherlands Antilles. Here, you'll discover its charm and visit the Cadushy distillery, where we'll enjoy a cactus liquor, a local delicacy.
Next, we'll give you recommendations for you to grab a bite to eat in the town. After lunch, we'll continue our tour and head to Mangazina di Rei, a cultural center where we'll dive into the history of Bonaire. Did you know that it was originally used as a storehouse for slave provisions?
We'll then start our journey back to Kralendijk with a scenic route that will take us to Dos Pos, where we'll discover an area of lush valley and a dense population of wild birds native to the island.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel, where we'll say goodbye after 4.5 hours.
