Looking for an adventure in the midst of unique tropical vegetation? At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Juan and take a trip to the east of Puerto Rico. Let's go!
After an hour's drive, we'll arrive at El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rainforest in the United States. Upon arrival, we'll adjust our sneakers and start walking along trails through the trees. Before you know it, we'll reach some hidden waterfalls that will give us unbeatable views.
Along the way, we'll stop at some waterfalls for a refreshing dip and to marvel at the incredible diversity of its flora and fauna. Afterward, we'll return to the vehicle for a change of scenery and pace. We'll stop at a restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional lunch nearby, featuring rice with beans, mofongo, a traditional meat stew, and avocado.
With our energies refueled, we'll head to Piñones, a coastal jewel, north of the island, where we'll put on our helmets and hop on buggies to tour the beautiful beach.
Traveling along the sand, we'll reach key points in this coastal spot, where we'll get out of the vehicles to admire the landscape and take lots of pictures. Finally, we'll sit down to enjoy some snacks in a typical Puerto Rican restaurant, a perfect end to the day!
Then, we'll return to your hotel, where we'll arrive about 6.5 hours later.
In order to drive the buggy on the beach, you must have a valid driver's license.
