Activity Details
We'll meet at the Laguna del Condado Profesor Jaime Benítez Rexach National Park at the designated time to begin our kayak tour. Here, you'll receive all the necessary equipment while we explain the safety measures and the basic paddling techniques.
Once we're ready, we'll embark on our double kayaks and start to paddle through the lagoon's waters, enjoying the calm atmosphere and views of the coast of San Juan.
During the journey, we'll tell you about the history of Condado and how it went from being a peaceful residential area to turning into a tourist destination. We'll also explain the ecological significance of its mangroves and its native fauna. With a bit of luck, you'll spot birds and manatees!
We'll pass by Puente Dos Hermanos and the Fortín de San Gerónimo de Boquerón, both built in the 18th century, as we tell you about their curiosities and the role they played in defending the city during the Colonial period.
As the sun sets, the lagoon will transform into a spectacular landscape, and when night falls, we'll give you glow accessories like necklaces, bracelets, and neon paint that glows in the dark to continue the experience under the stars.
After 1 hour of kayaking, we'll reach Playita del Condado, where we'll enjoy a fun salsa class. If you don't know how to dance, no worries! For 1 hour, you'll learn the basic steps and a short choreography as tropical musical fills you with energy next to the lagoon. You'll have a blast!
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point, where we'll disembark and say our goodbyes after a total of 2 hours.
