Activity Details

Our kayaking and snorkeling activity starts at your chosen time at the Cala de Embarcadero. Here in Los Escullos, on the east coast of Almeria, we'll have a quick lesson on how to safely paddle the kayaks. You'll also be able to practice on the beach!

After learning the basics of kayaking, we'll get into the sea and paddle toward our destination. During this first part of the kayaking trip, we'll get to admire the wild volcanic cliffs characteristic of this coastal area of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar Natural Park.

Halfway, we'll stop paddling and jump into the water to snorkel. Keep your eyes peeled for large schools of fish, starfish, octopus, and even stingrays!

After 2 hours of enjoying the kayak tour, we'll paddle back to Embarcadero Cove, ending the tour.

Changes to the Meeting Point

If conditions are favorable, this activity will begin at Cala del Embarcadero. However, if the weather is bad, we'll start the tour at another nearby location, such as La Fabriquilla Beach or Cala del Cuervo in Las Negras. In these exceptional cases, we'll notify you the day before.

Activity Requirements

You must know how to swim and be able to paddle the kayak independently.
Please note that this activity is not suitable for people with poor physical fitness, medical conditions, mobility issues, or pregnant people.
The maximum weight permitted per kayak is 260 kg (573 pounds), with a maximum of 4 people per kayak.

Photo Album

We’ll take photos during the kayaking tour. At the end of the tour, we’ll provide you with a link where, two weeks after the tour, you can download the photos yourself for free. You’ll have a lasting memory of this special day!
