During the booking process, you can choose between the following 2 options:
At the designated time, we'll meet at Via Catira, on the outskirts of Catania, where the Etna Urban Winery is located. Are you ready to try traditional Sicilian flavours in a unique and fascinating environment?
With this option, we'll have a tasting of 4 wines and you'll enjoy a topical lunch made up of 7 small starters, a first course made of either pasta or rice, and a second course made of meat or fish.
After lunch, you'll have the chance to freely explore the cellars and vineyards for as long as you wish.
If you wish to spend more time here, you can choose this option which includes a guided tour of the Etna Urban Winery facilities.
Despite its origins, which date back to the 18th century, the winery is located in an area impacted by the city of Catania's expansion, making it the first urban winery in Sicily. Located on the southern slopes of Etna, here, you'll get to know the island's culinary and wine-making traditions while you relax in a setting that uniquely blends nature and innovation.
As soon as you arrive, you'll enjoy a tasting of 4 wines from Etna, paired with 4 gourmet appetisers. Once the tasting has come to an end, we'll explore the vineyards, the historical family winery which dates back to 1790, and the wine cellar.
