At the designated time, we'll meet at the Catania Port, where the captain and his crew will be waiting on board a luxurious sailboat. After disembarking, we'll greet you with an apéritif with soft drinks, olives, and cured meats. The adventure starts!
We'll sail along the famous Riviera dei Ciclopi, a coastal strip that stretches from Aci Castello to Acireale, known for its ancient volcanic eruptions and mythological legends.
From the boat, you'll admire the spectacular formations of solidified lava and feel the sea breeze of the Ionian Sea as you learn the art of sailboat riding. Did you know this coastline is connected to The Adventures of Ulysses?
During the journey, we'll reach the Grotte di Ulisse, located near Ognina. Here, we'll dock at a protected bay, the perfect spot to take a dip in the water. You'll have at your disposal snorkeling equipment, paddle surf boards, and mats to relax and explore the Sicilian seabed.
Once we're back on board the boat, a Sicilian lunch served on the deck with music awaits. The menu includes a starter and a main dish made with local products, accompanied by water and wine from the region.
Finally, we begin our journey back to Catania and say our goodbyes at the departure pier after 3 hours of sailing.
