Cueva Bonita Kayak Tour
At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the famous cave in Porís de Candelaria, a small fishing village located on the west coast of La Palma. Before getting into the kayaks, we'll explain some basic safety guidelines and teach you some helpful paddling techniques.
Then it will be time for the fun part! After getting into the boats, we'll start our kayak tour, paddling south along the coast of La Palma. Leaving Porís de Candelaria behind, we'll make our way to Cueva Bonita, an iconic sea cave located at the foot of a steep cliff. We'll check out this popular volcanic cavern from our kayaks, slowly paddling our way inside.
While we explore the interior of the cave and admire its crystalline waters, we'll tell you some of the legends of the famed Sistine Chapel of the Atlantic. Fun fact: this place served as a refuge for the local population against pirate attacks during the 17th century!
Once we've explored our way through Cueva Bonita, we'll paddle back to Porís de Candelaria. After 2 hours of paddling, the tour will conclude at the starting point.b
Sunset Tour
If you choose this option, we’ll follow the same route as the previous one, but you’ll get to enjoy a beautiful sunset over Cueva Bonita on La Palma.
During the tour, we’ll make a short stop to enjoy a snack and watch the sunset from the sea. It will be a truly special moment on the west coast of La Palma!
Finally, after a 2.5-hour tour, we’ll wrap up the route by returning to the meeting point.
