After listening to the safety measures, we'll climb on board the aircraft and start soaring to enter the Alaska Range. During the flight, we'll enjoy the best views of the main glaciers surrounding Talkeetna.
This aircraft flight will take us through the southern face of the mountain range, perfect for admiring the tundra that stretches out at our feet. Afterward, we'll head north to discover the other side of Denali or Mount McKinley, where we'll find the famous Wickersham Wall. It's one of the largest and deadliest ice and rock walls in the world! You'll observe its breathtaking vertical drop of over 1377 ft (4200 m), a landscape that will leave you speechless.
Then, before you know it, it'll be one of the most special moments of the day. Can you imagine landing in the middle of a glacier? Slowly, we'll land with the aircraft and complete this tour with a walk around the glacier. For half an hour, you can enjoy the snowy landscape that surrounds you and experience stepping onto the majestic peaks of the Alaska Range.
We'll return to the aircraft and fly back to the starting point. Don't miss the last scenic views of Denali from the sky! 2 hours later, we'll reach solid ground, where we'll say our goodbyes and conclude this flight.
