Peneda-Gerês National Park River Walk
At 10 am we'll meet at the premises located in Avenida 25 de Abril de Soajo. There we'll put on our wetsuits and water trekking boots.
Once we're ready, we'll head to Peneda-Gerês, the only National Park in Portugal. This beautiful natural area located on the border with Spain is an environmental jewel of the Iberian Peninsula due to its great biodiversity. In fact, it serves as a habitat for local species such as the garrano horse.
During this water trekking route through Peneda-Gêres, we'll cross the main rivers and natural pools around the National Park including the Adrão River stands out, where we'll refresh ourselves in its crystalline waters! We'll also take the opportunity to swim in the natural pools of the area.
We'll take a break halfway through to taste some Portuguese products. You'll enjoy traditional wines and meats - a feast in the heart of nature! Then we'll continue to discover other wild rivers in Peneda-Gerês.
The tour will end returning to Soajo by minibus, arriving at the starting point at 2:30 pm.
