You'll embark on a journey through history when you purchase your ticket to this unique site, complete with audioguide. You'll learn how this magnificent structure was once nestled within the city's ancient walls, which were later removed to expand the cathedral. Did you know this grand temple is also affectionately known as El Doncel de Sigüenza? This moniker honors a member of the Vázquez de Arce family, a knight of Santiago who valiantly served and tragically fell in the War of Granada at age 25.
But that's not all your ticket offers! It grants you entry to the Diocesan Museum of Ancient Art, conveniently located just across from the Cathedral. Inside, you'll uncover a treasure trove of religious art that belongs to the Diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara, which features the renowned painting of La Inmaculada Niña (the Immaculate Child) by Zurbarán
La Catedral de Sigüenza is open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 7:30 pm. Final admission is at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
