At the scheduled time, we'll meet along the ER379-1 Highway to start this hiking route through the Arrábida Natural Park. Are you ready to discover this unique natural spot in Portugal? Let's go!
Once the introductions are made, we'll start the hike through this place full of nature and history. Did you know that it was established in 1976 to ensure the preservation of the local flora? Undoubtedly, the greatest attraction of the park is its rich vegetation, and in fact, there is one of the few examples of the Mediterranean maquis.
The walk will take us along a path through the cliffs between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, where we'll be able to appreciate the native species and the biodiversity of the area. We'll tell you many interesting facts about it!
Along 7 kilometers (4.35 miles), we'll admire the Arrábida mountain range, which rises above one of the most beautiful coasts of Portugal. We'll walk between the sea and the mountains, getting to know the wildlife, history, and traditions of one of the most charming natural areas of the Lisbon region. No wonder!
