At the designated time, we'll meet at the Fisherman's Wharf Sign to board the Lombard Leap, a small open-air vehicle that reaches streets larger buses can't reach, to start our tour of San Francisco's highlights. Ready to explore some of San Francisco's most iconic neighborhoods and hills?
First, we'll go up San Francisco's famous hills as we take in the beautiful views of the city. On this tour, you'll learn all about the city's history, movie locations, and hidden details thanks to the driver-guide. We'll enjoy a thrilling drive down Lombard Street, the city's iconic "Crooked Street." It'll be the highlight of the day!
Then, we'll climb along the residential Filbert Street in Russian Hill, known for its steep incline. Next, we'll stop for photos at Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill, a tower standing at 210 ft (64 m). Here, you'll enjoy the sweeping scenic views of the bay, skyline, and surrounding neighborhoods while listening to the local guide's stories and insider recommendations.
Our tour then continues through the historic neighborhood of North Beach, known as San Francisco's "Little Italy," which has become one of the city's main nightlife districts. Afterward, we'll head to the nearby Chinatown, established in the early 1850s. Did you know it's the oldest Chinatown in North America? We'll then head to Nob Hill, a neighborhood known for its luxury hotels, historic mansions, boutiques, and art galleries. This district has historically served as a center for the city's upper class.
Finally, we'll reach the bustling Fisherman's Wharf area, where we'll conclude the activity in this area after 1.5 hours.
