Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Dragon Gate to begin a free night tour of two of San Francisco's most special neighbourhoods. First, we'll visit Chinatown.
During the tour, we'll discover the origins of the neighbourhood of Chinatown as night begins to fall and the streets begin to take on a magical aura. We'll enter mysterious alleyways, where we'll see pagodas, and learn about some urban legends and curiosities of the area. Are you ready to listen to the stories of the local villains?
As we walk, we'll talk about the most fascinating landmarks that have taken place in Chinatown, including the Gold Rush era. We'll also tell you how the mythical fortune cookies, one of the most typical Chinese sweets, were born here.
Gradually, we'll move into the Little Italy district, which is located next to Chinatown. Did you know that Chinese and Italian cultures often coexist in close proximity in major cities across the United States? We'll find out why during our tour.
We'll reveal the best pizzerias in San Francisco, spot Old St. Mary's Cathedral, see street art murals and take in the charm and colour that characterises many of the buildings in Little Italy.
Our night tour of Chinatown and Little Italy will end as we say goodbye on Green Street after 2 hours of sightseeing.
