Set off on a full-day trip to Mont-Saint-Michel from Paris. This medieval abbey is one of the most famous and iconic sights in France. The rocky island, declared a World Heritage site, was one of the country’s most important pilgrimage sites during the Middle Ages.

Mont-Saint-Michel from Paris

On the day of the trip, we'll depart at the scheduled time from the Hotel Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel and head to Normandy, a region in the west of France famous for its lush green landscapes.

Our first stop will be the Restaurant Relais St Michel, located across from the impressive fortress, where you'll have free time to have lunch.

Then, we'll cross the foot of the mountain to begin our tour of Mont-Saint-Michel, where you'll explore the Gothic and Romanesque parts of this spectacular fortress city.

During the tour, we'll step into the famous Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, which attracts over one million visitors each year. Its construction began in the 10th century and finished in 1523. Since 1979, it was catalogued as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

After touring the Abbey, you'll have free time to continue enjoying Mont Saint Michel at your own pace. We recommend trying one of Normandy’s famous crêpes or buying souvenirs for your friends and family.

Finally, we'll head back to Paris, where we'll arrive after an enriching 14-hour day trip.
