On this tour, you'll discover this gem of the Abruzzo region along a bicycle trail that winds through the intense blue of the Adriatic Sea and the nature reserve's green. Ready to pedal effortlessly? Let's go!
Slowly, we'll start to peddle along a trail bordering the Trabocchi Coast. This coast has its name because of the typical fishing machines of the Adriatic coast. From this viewpoint, you'll enjoy a scenic view of the coast, its turquoise waters, and steep cliffs.
We'll stop at the archeological site of Murata Bassa, where we'll explore the remains of an ancient fortification while sharing fascinating stories of the past.
Afterward, we'll reach one of the coast's most emblematic structures: the Trabocco de Turchino, immortalized by the famous poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. Here, you'll have time to explore and learn about the history of these ancient fishing platforms that are so important in the area.
