Kekova Island Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Olympus. From there, we'll hop on a minibus that will take us to the port of Demre. There, a boat will be waiting for us, departing at 10:30 am for the island of Kekova.
In just one hour, we'll reach this sunken city, one of the most beautiful places on the Mediterranean coast. We'll pass by the underwater remains of the ancient city and learn the secrets of these majestic ruins. Then, we'll leave the boat and you'll be able to visit Simena Castle.
After a little over an hour on the island, we'll make our way to Gokkaya Bay, where you'll have time to take a refreshing dip in the sea. The crystal clear waters of the coast are sure to tempt you!
Next, we'll continue sailing through Turkish waters until we reach Karemlik Bay, a perfect place to see the numerous species of turtles that live in this area. Did you know that Turkey has five of the eight largest species in the world? The next stop will be Pirates Cave, a great spot for unforgettable pictures!
At 5 pm, we'll dock at Demre Harbor and then head to the Santa Claus Museum, where you can admire numerous archaeological remains and unique cultural objects from the Antalya region from the 5th and 11th centuries.
To end the tour on a high note, you'll visit the ancient city of Myra. History enthusiasts will love this collection of tombs carved into the hillside and its amphitheater.
At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Olympus, arriving at approximately 8 pm.
