Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll start this private tour of Namur at Rue Notre Dame, number 11. Ready to explore the city?
Our walking tour will begin at the Parliament of Wallonia. We'll stop at its facade to learn some facts about this French-speaking region in southern Belgium, which is very different from the Dutch-speaking Flemish region in the north of the country.
Next, you'll see the stunning Citadel of Namur from the Passerelle de l'Enjambée. This bridge is found at the confluence of the Meuse and Sambre rivers. We'll cross this last river over the Pont du Musée toward the city's historical center.
On the other side of the river, we'll reach the Place d'Armes, where you'll admire the exterior of the Belfry of Namur and the beautiful Namur Stock Exchange Building. From here, we'll continue our tour at the Place de l'Ange and head to the Église Saint-Ignace, a lovely Baroque-style church dating back to the 17th century.
Lastly, we'll stroll next to St. Aubin's Cathedral, where we'll conclude our private tour after 2 hours in front of the Musem of Decorative Arts of Namur.
