We’ll begin with an introduction to uncover all the details behind the ceremony. Moroccan tea is much more than a drink. It's a symbol of generosity and social connection, offered as a gesture of friendship. You’ll learn the meaning behind each ingredient, from green tea leaves to sugar and fresh herbs.
Throughout the experience, we’ll guide you step by step in preparing the tea. You’ll learn how to cleanse the teapot, control the strength of the leaves, and manage the water temperature to achieve the desired intensity. After the infusion, we’ll add the mint and sugar, seeking the perfect balance between sweetness and freshness.
Then comes the most anticipated moment: the pouring technique. You’ll be shown how to serve the tea from a certain height to create the characteristic frothy layer on top, an essential detail in Moroccan tea. After watching the process, you’ll practice the pour yourselves and refine your technique. Time to give it a try.
