Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet in central London and head west by bus until we reach Windsor. Once there, we'll take you to the town's main tourist attraction.
First built in the 11th century, Windsor Castle is surrounded by enormous and beautifully looked after gardens with a turreted Round Tower. As you explore, it's easy to understand why the royals love this castle. It's also the oldest and largest lived-in castle in the world!
After getting out of the vehicle, you can begin exploring the castle’s various rooms with an audio guide in English, which will help you understand every detail. You’ll see works of art in the State Apartments and can visit St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth II.
After exploring the inside of Windsor Castle, you'll have free time to check out the rest of the fortress and have lunch in one of the restaurants in the area.
Finally, we'll return to London, where the tour will end around back in central London, after around 4-5.5 hours after pickup.
