The View from The Shard
London's tallest skyscraper stands out for its 310 m (1,017 ft) height and irregular triangular shape covered with glass shards. At the top of the building, you'll find The View from The Shard, a viewpoint that offers views twice the height of any other observation point in the city.
The Shard's lift ascends at 6 m (19.6 ft) per second, with hardly any noticeable movement. You'll travel from level 1 to 68 in just 60 seconds!
The main observation gallery on the 69th floor is a spectacular 3-storey-high space, flooded with light during the day and the ideal setting for viewing the city's bright lights at night.
But you can go even higher! The open-air terrace (Skydeck) on the 72nd floor offers an unbeatable experience: you can feel the air and hear the sounds of the city from over 300 m (984 ft) above ground at the top of The Shard.
