Tour Details

Departing from central London at your chosen time, we'll head west to Stonehenge. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, depending on traffic.

Located on Salisbury Plain, Stonehenge is a megalithic monument made up of enormous stone blocks weighing 40 tonnes, brought to the site 5,000 years ago. Despite countless theories, its purpose remains a mystery. Did you know the site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987?

Once at Stonehenge, you'll have approximately 2 hours of free time to explore. The tour includes the most complete admission ticket to the site, though the return journey to the visitor center, around 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) away, must be made on foot.

Once we regroup at the visitor center, we'll board the bus back to central London, finishing the trip at Gloucester Road in Kensington.

Meeting Points

The meeting point will vary depending on the time slot you select when booking:

Morning tour:

Stop 8 on Buckingham Palace Road at 8:30 am.
Victoria Coach Station at 9:30 am.

Afternoon tour:

Bus stop 1 on Bulleid Way, inside Victoria Station at 1 pm.

Audio Guide

Please note that this is a self-guided activity, so there will be no guide accompanying you during the visit. The bus driver will speak English during the journey but will not provide any commentary on the visit or explanations about Stonehenge.

Free audio guides in English are available at the Stonehenge entrance, though they are limited and may run out. You can also download the audio guide content through an app on your own phone.
