The Making of Harry Potter Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Euston War Memorial, a memorial located just a short walk from Euston railway station. Here, we'll board a train that'll take us to the magical world of Harry Potter.
Once at our destination, we'll transfer to the shuttle bus, which will take us to the entrance to the Harry Potter film set. In total, the journey from London to the studios will take just over an hour.
You'll be free to enter the Warner Bros. facilities and start exploring the wonders of this famous exhibition. Walk through the Grand Hall and let the magic begin!
Have you ever dreamt of visiting Albus Dumbledore's office, seeing Herbology class or Hagrid's hut? Or perhaps you'd love to take a photo of yourself flying on a broomstick during a Quidditch tournament? All this is possible in the Harry Potter studios.
The Warner Bros. complex has an extensive collection of original sets from the films, as well as accessories and costumes used in the saga. Of course, you'll also find a food court, where you can try the famous butterbeer and a shop that is a real hit with visitors.
After your visit to the Harry Potter Studios, you can take the shuttle bus back to Watford Junction Railway Station. Your train ticket will have an open timetable so you don't have to rush and can return to central London in your own time.
The Making of Harry Potter Guided Tour
In this case, we'll follow the same itinerary previously described and enjoy a tour of the Harry Potter studios with an English-speaking guide. Throughout this guided tour, you'll learn different facts and anecdotes about this popular movie saga that has captivated the hearts of people from all over the world.
Once you finish the guided tour of the Harry Potter studios, the guide will give you the train tickets so you can return to London at your preferred time.
Temporary Exhibitions
In addition to the permanent exhibition, depending on the time of year you visit the studios, you can enjoy the following temporary exhibitions:
- First Year at Hogwarts (May 7–September 7): Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and relive the magic of the first year through iconic sets, original props, and unforgettable moments from the beginning of the saga.
- Dark Arts (September 16–November 8): Delve into the darkest side of the wizarding world this Halloween. From floating pumpkins in the Great Hall to pools of silvery unicorn blood, you’ll discover how the props department brought the most macabre elements to life. You’ll even be able to test your wand-dueling skills against a real Death Eater in a much spookier Diagon Alley!
- Hogwarts in the Snow (November 14–January 17): Experience the magic of Christmas at Hogwarts. You’ll discover how the filmmakers created ice that never melts and fireplaces that burn eternally using special effects, as well as admire handmade Christmas ornaments, festive trees, and the decorations for the Grand Christmas Ball.
