Founded in 1837, the capital of Texas has a history full of light and shadow, characterised by naval construction, oil, the proliferation of art, and, of course, outer space. Nevertheless, hatred and assassinations also filled the city at times, instilling panic among the locals.
To uncover the spookiest stories of Houston, we'll venture down the city's streets and stop in front of the most haunted spots hidden in the centre. A great example is the Union National Bank building, where many tragic deaths took place during the Great Depression.
If you're feeling brave, we'll then visit the Spaghetti Warehouse, one of the most mysterious and haunted spots in Houston. The paranormal activity in this area is so intense that barely anyone wants to work in this restaurant.
Additionally, we'll walk by the oldest commercial building in the capital, where ghosts roam freely, throwing bottles or wine glasses off the shelves. Other spine-chilling stories include the curse left by the space race or the terrible epidemic that struck Texas, taking the lives of over 500 people in Houston.
