Open since 2003, the Downtown Aquarium Houston is a must-see attraction in the city. It covers more than 2 hectares (5 acres) and offers a safe, comfortable environment for marine life, away from predators and food shortages.
The aquarium is divided into 5 themed areas, each dedicated to a different ecosystem. You’ll be able to explore the fascinating world of coral reefs and mangroves or travel back in time aboard a 17th-century Spanish ship.
In addition to observing the diversity of aquatic life, a visit to the Houston aquarium aims to raise awareness about the importance of marine conservation and harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Get ready for an unforgettable journey beneath the sea!

You can enter the Downtown Aquarium daily from 10 am to 8:30 pm.
Please note that children taller than 106 cm (3.5 ft) must have purchased an adult ticket in order to comply with the attraction regulations.
