See famous grizzly bears in their natural habitat with this bear sighting activity, with a plane ride to reach them included!
Grizzly Bear Spotting
The tour meets next to Lake Beluga, where we'll get on a minibus and we will take you to Homer Airport to board a plane with which we will start this adventure. Ready to get up close with the famous grizzly bears?
After a flight of between an hour and an hour and a half, depending on the location of the bears, we dive into the interior of Alaska and will arrive at the best area to make the sighting, enjoying unparalleled views of the glaciers and volcanoes in the area.
When we land, we will begin to explore the area in search of bears. The Katmai National Park has the largest protected grizzly bear population in the world, making it the best place to spot these majestic creatures.
Depending on the area in which we find them, we can see the bears socializing in the forest or even fishing for salmon in the river. An unforgettable experience! Of course, the guide will take you to the best areas so that you can take incredible photos, while always respecting the animals and eliminating the risks.
After three hours observing these fascinating mammals, we will climb back aboard the plane and take you back to the starting point in Homer.
