Ethnographic Park of La Gomera Ticket
Welcome to PEG (Ethnographic Park of La Gomera) Los Telares! The museum, which explores the lives and customs of the island's inhabitants, also features a golfio mill, golfio being one of the basic staples of Canarian gastronomy.
As looking at a diverse range of Gomeran antiques, you'll learn how the island's handicrafts were created using different ancient looms. Products made using this ancestral technique continue to bring added value to the local economy.
The museum also houses an eco-farm and a botanical garden, whose wide variety of species allows us more in-depth learning of the amazing biodiversity of the Canarian archipelago. You'll be able to discover very interesting facts with the audio guide included.
As the finishing touch of this guided tour of the PEG, you'll be able to try samples of local island gastronomy. The tasting includes the following typical Gomeran produce: white or red Gomeran wine, fruits from the farm, wrinkled potatoes, mojos, a dish made with almogrote and palm honey, a cheese board and homemade jam.
