We'll meet at 8:30 am at Passeio Abu Sào Ibn Harune, where we'll distribute the bikes for our ride along the charming Ria Formosa, one of the most beautiful natural sites in the south of Portugal.
There's nothing better than a bike tour to discover a protected area in an eco-friendly way! We'll cycle along the coastline of this area of the Algarve, rolling through the Ria Formosa Natural Park and enjoying its stunning coastal scenery and fresh air along the way.
As we pedal, we'll begin to notice a soft salty breeze - a sign that we have reached the salt flats of the Ria Formosa. Here, we'll check out some native birds, and then continue our ride surrounded by marshes, canals and islets.
Eventually, we'll arrive at Praia de Faro, where you'll have some free time to rest. If you want, you can even sit on one of its terraces and have a refreshing drink while you admire views of the sea!
After this break, we'll take the road back to Faro, taking in more of the amazing nature that surrounds us.
We'll arrive at the departure point at 11:30 am, where the tour will conclude.
