With this boat transfer from Faro, you can travel at your own pace from the islands of Desertas, Farol, and Culatra, the three main islands of the Ria Formosa.
Boat Transfer Details
At the designated time, we'll set sail from the Cais do Porta Nova port in Faro on board a speedboat. Ready to sail on the waters of the Algarve? You'll be instantly captivated by the landscapes of this area in southern Portugal!
After a 15-minute journey along the Ría Formosa Natural Park, we'll arrive at Desertas Islands, a beautiful pristine site where you can stay for as long as you want. In this paradise of the Algarve, also called Barreta Island, you'll have the chance to take a dip in the waters, stroll along its beaches of fine golden sand, and walk to the Cape of St. Mary.
At the time that best suits you, at the pier of Desertas Islands, we'll board a new speedboat. After 15 minutes of sailing on the Ria Formosa lagoon, we'll arrive at Farol Island. Here, you can visit its small town, relax on Salva-Vidas Beach, and grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants in the town.
From the boat in Farol Island, at the time you prefer, you'll be able to continue your journey along the Ria Formosa. Just 15 minutes away, you'll find Culatra Island, home to another picturesque town whose main attraction is its whitewashed church. This island is also famous for its oyster farms, which you can visit during low tide.
Finally, at the time you wish, you'll embark on a speedboat at the pier in Culatra to return to the port in Faro. Please note that this return transfer is not direct, as it makes one stop at Farol Island and another stop at Desertas Islands.
