When booking, you can opt for one of the following boat rides in Fajardo. All of them include an English-speaking guide, snorkelling equipment and depart at the indicated time from number 6 of Villa Marina.
Next, we'll explain the details of each route.
The faint light of the sunset gives the coastline of Fajardo a dreamlike aura. To enjoy these views, we'll move away from the coast, admiring the lighthouse of Las Cabezas de San Juan and Las Croabas. After a 15-minute cruise, we'll reach Palomino Island. Ready to dive into the water?
With snorkelling gear on, we'll set out to explore the shoals of fish that inhabit the coral gardens on this paradise island. When you get hungry, you can enjoy snacks and drinks on board as described in the 5-hour tour. Yummy!
When the sun has finished setting over the horizon, we'll set sail back to Fajardo. We'll admire how the seabirds return to their nests in the spectacle of golden and pink colours over the Caribbean sky.
In this case, we'll follow the same itinerary described in the sunset boat ride. The big difference will be that we'll head out to sea hidden in the darkness of the night. As we progress along the journey, we'll have magical views of the illuminated coast of Fajardo and, when you least expect it, we'll anchor to snorkel at Palomino Island.
What mysteries does the sea hide at night? What marine species will we find? We'll find out! Night snorkelling in the Caribbean is one of the perfect activities to combine adventure and serenity.
Ready to discover the beauty of Fajardo from the water? After checking in, we'll hop onto the boat and set sail as the coastline unfolds in all its splendour before us. As we sail away, we'll see the emblematic lighthouse of Las Cabezas de San Juan and the coast of Las Croabas. Cameras ready?
During the cruise, we'll serve you a selection of cheeses, meats, fried foods, naan, guacamole, seasonal fruits and crackers, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
You'll have the opportunity to choose the route between the islands of Icacos and Palomino, or the tranquil Piñero Island. If you opt for Icacos and Palomino, in just 15 minutes you'll reach two of their beaches for snorkelling. In the coral reefs we can see parrot fish, angelfish and starfish.
If you opt for Piñero Island, the journey to get there will take about 25 minutes. There, you can jump into the water to admire the coral gardens that surround the island, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the sea!
On this sailing adventure, we'll sail along the east coast of Puerto Rico. From there, we'll have a different perspective of the lighthouse of Las Cabezas de San Juan and Las Croabas.
You can choose to stop and go snorkeling at Icacos and Palomino Island. Or, we could go to Piñero Island which stands out for its beautiful coral reef.
Along the way, we'll stop to enjoy a delicious lunch before making our return to the pier.
