Activity Details
At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and begin a tour focused on nature, beaches, and landscapes in one of the most beautiful areas of Puerto Rico. Get your swimsuit and towel ready!
First, we’ll travel to El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rainforest in the United States. Upon arrival, we’ll explore one of the main rivers in the area: the Mameyes River. Specifically, in the La Barrigona area, we’ll see waterfalls and natural pools formed in the surroundings. El Yunque is considered an important natural site and holds cultural significance for the local population.
During the walk through El Yunque, you’ll have time to swim in its natural pools beneath the waterfalls. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in the mountains, we’ll head to Luquillo to visit its beaches.
Known as the “city of eternal summer,” Luquillo has some of the most well-known beaches in the region. Its coastline extends for nearly 20 kilometers (12.43 miles), making it a popular destination for surfing and relaxing by the sea. You’ll have 3 hours of free time to enjoy the beach, swim, and try local food at nearby restaurants.
Finally, we’ll meet again and return you to your hotel, ending the tour after 6 hours.
