Enjoy an exciting rush of adrenaline as you rappel down the narrow walls of the Buitre gorge in this canyoning adventure in the Castril valley.
Canyoning at Buitre Gorge
At 9:30 am, we'll meet outside the Asador Romero, located just 5 kilometers from the center of Castril. After introductions, we'll all get in our own vehicles and follow the guide, who will also travel in their own car, leading us to the starting point of the route.
Soon, we'll arrive at the gorge of El Buitre, a corridor of the Sierra de Castril natural park that surprises visitors with its waterfalls and narrow walls - the perfect playground for those who love canyoning. After getting set up with all of the necessary equipment, we'll give you a brief theoretical class to explain the safety measures. Then comes the fun part!
During the tour, you'll be able to let your adventurous spirit run wild in a total of nine different rappels, two of which are nearly 100 feet (30 meters) long! Not to mention, while we get our adrenaline pumping, we'll take in the stunning views that this natural space is known for.
The return is quite short and simple. We'll just climb a slope that will take us to a dirt track close to where we left the vehicles.
We'll finish the activity at 12:30 pm in the parking lot of the Buitre gorge.
