At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Bodegas Romale winery in Almendralejo to participate in a guided tour of this modern wine and cava-producing estate.
Almendralejo is the capital of the Extremadura region of Tierra de Barros, which features a terrain perfect for growing grapes thanks to its red clay soils rich in nutrients. The climate of Badajoz also makes it an optimal location for obtaining quality grapes, with very hot summers and very cold winters.
We'll visit the facilities of Bodegas Romale, one of the most innovative wineries in Extremadura, and learn how they make their Tempranillo D.O. Ribera del Guadiana wine with the most modern techniques, such as the Ganymede system.
