With this ticket to the Alcaudete Castle, you'll visit one of the most outstanding fortresses in the province of Jaén at your leisure. You'll be amazed!
Description
Jaén is the Spanish province with the greatest number of fortresses. You'll visit one of the most spectacular sites in Jaén with your entry to the castle.
The entrance ticket includes an audioguide in English that'll allow you to learn about the history of the castle's rooms. Among them is the Chapter Room, where you'll see figures of friars dressed in the garments of the Rule of Saint Benedict. Did you know this order was one of the most important during medieval times?
You can't miss the stables either, where you'll see the garments and protective equipment that covered riders and horses. The audio guide will also show you other important parts of the castle, such as the armoury and the cisterns.
Before finishing your visit, which lasts about an hour, we recommend you go to the Torre del Homenaje. Here you can admire the decoration of the Hall of Audiences and go up to the viewpoint of the terrace, which offers magnificent panoramic views of Alcaudete.
Schedule
The Alcaudete Castle is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm.
