During the drive, you'll be able to admire beautiful views of Tamegroute and Tizi Ben Selmane. After 3 hours travelling along the former Dakar Rally route, we'll reach the camp where endless dunes await us.
Once we've arrived, you'll be able to go on a 1-hour camel ride and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the Erg Chegaga dunes. Afterwards, we'll indulge in a traditional Moroccan dinner before heading to rest in a haima, an authentic Berber camping tent, under the desert's starry sky. You'll be fascinated!
Day 2
On the second day, we'll get up extra early to experience a magical moment: the sunrise over the Erg Chegaga dunes. What better way to begin your day than by admiring the first rays of sun illuminating the sand? After enjoying this spectacle, we'll have breakfast in the camp.
Next, we'll begin our journey back to Zagora. Along the way, we'll make a stop at M'Hamid El Ghizlane, an oasis town in the Draa Valley. We'll also stop at Tamegroute, to go on a 30-minute visit to a green ceramics workshop, a regional artisanal tradition that is sure to charm you.
Lastly, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Zagora around 12 pm.
