Tour Details
We'll meet in front of the Marqueses de Villafranca Castle at the designated time to begin this private tour of the village's historic center.
First, we'll step inside this majestic fortress from the 16th century to go on a guided tour of its rooms, which visitors can access for free. Then, we'll see one of the village's most beautiful sculptures, an artwork from Arturo Nogueira, a renowned Spanish sculptor, before visiting his art studio.
Our next stop will be at the Convento de la Anunciada, declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Asset of Cultural Interest). Afterward, we'll explore the old town until we reach the famous Calle del Agua, filled with palaces, manor houses, wineries, churches, and convents. We'll then arrive at the Medieval Bridge of Villafranca, where you'll admire the fantastic views.
Finally, we'll reach the Colegiata de Santa María, dating back to the 16th century and located in a historic 12th-century monastery. Here, we'll say our goodbyes after this 2-hour free tour.
