Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at The Plaza Hotel in Venice to begin this day trip to Verona and Sirmione. Get ready to explore all the landmarks of this romantic city in Veneto and the unparalleled beauty of Lake Garda.

Our first stop will be Verona, Romeo and Juliet's home city. We'll stroll through the cobbled streets of the historical centre, filled with majestic palaces and medieval architecture.

We'll then see the outside of Juliet's House, one of the protagonists in Shakespeare's tragic play. We'll also have the chance to admire the facade of the Verona Arena, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world.

After this short tour of Verona, you'll have 2.5 hours of free time to visit some monuments and re-energise with a tasty lunch. You get to choose what to do!

We'll meet up once again to travel to Sirmione, a peninsula located to the south of Lake Garda. Once we arrive, we'll hop onboard a boat and travel for 30 minutes across the lake's crystal-clear waters. We'll get to admire scenic views of Sirmione, the majestic Scaliger Castle, and the famous Grotte di Catullo.

10 hours later, we'll return to our meeting point in Venice.
