Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Piazza Primo Maggio to begin our private tour of Udine, a unique city where Renaissance, Gothic, and Venetian architecture come together. Join us as we discover its main monuments!
Our tour will begin by telling you about the history of the city and this square, formerly known as the “Giardin Grande” and a meeting place for the city's inhabitants. You'll be captivated by its distinctive elliptical shape and the legends that surround it!
Then, we'll take a walk through the historic center of Udine until we reach Piazza Libertà, another city landmark. Here, we'll see the Loggia del Lionello, the Clock Tower, and the Tempietto di San Giovanni, a true symbol of Renaissance art in Udine.
We'll continue our journey towards the Udine Cathedral, known as the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Annunziata, built in 1236. We'll enter the cathedral to admire the altarpiece and frescoes by Amalteo and Tiepolo.
At the end of the visit, we'll return to Piazza Primo Maggio, where we'll say goodbye after a 2-hour tour.
