On this excursion to Stromboli and Panarea from Tropea, we'll discover these two beautiful islands of the Aeolian Islands and see an erupting volcano. It'll be a unique experience!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Tropea and board a ship to start this excursion to Stromboli and Panarea. Let's sail in the Tyrrhenian Sea!
Our first stop will be Panarea, the second smallest island of the Aeolian archipelago. In Panarea, you can find a prehistoric Bronze Age village on the promontory of Milazzo. This small quaint island is also home to Hotel Raya, a charming hotel that attracts many international celebrities in the summer. You'll have free time to explore the island on your own and taste the local gastronomy.
Then, we'll return to the ship to head to Stromboli. Once there, you'll again have free time to explore the island at your leisure. You'll be able to take a leisurely stroll through the streets of its seaside neighborhood and reach the Piazza San Vincenzo viewpoint, where you can admire a unique view of Stromboli and the islet of Strombolicchio. You'll see why this is the most famous and spectacular of the Aeolian Islands!
On the way back to the starting point, we'll make a stop to close the excursion with a perfect finishing touch: we'll see lava flowing out of the Stromboli volcano at nightfall!
Finally, we'll end the tour by arriving back to the port of Tropea after a total of twelve hours.
