Lush green forests, breathtakingly blue waters and glistening white waterfalls: Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia's natural treasures, will captivate you instantly.
Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour
After being picked up from Ul. Blaža Jurjeva Trogiranina, 1 in Trogir, you'll make your way north, crossing through Lika, a beautiful area of Croatia that stretches inland from its Adriatic Sea coastline.
Reaching the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the first stop of your excursion, you'll kick the day off with a guided walking tour of the wooden walkways that connect the sixteen different lakes, forests, waterfalls and hills. Admire the spectacular beauty of this protected reserve, which UNESCO has designated a World Heritage Site - and for good reason. Cascading waterfalls lead into unbelievably azure natural pools, all of which contrast strikingly with the verdant forests that cover the natural park. A truly unique landscape!
Throughout the tour, we'll admire the surrounding landscapes from different perspectives and learn some curiosities about the biodiversity of Plitvice, characterized by a wide range of flora and fauna.
Next, you'll be taken to a nearby town to renew your energy by indulging in delicious Croatian cuisine. After eating, you'll make the return journey to the meeting point in Trogir after 10 hours.
