Join this excursion to the Acropolis of Selinunte and spend a day immersed in history. You'll be captivated by the history!
At the designated time, we'll meet on Via Ammiraglio Staiti, where we'll board a minibus and head to the Acropolis of Selinunte, located about 1 hour 30 minutes away from Trapani.
Once we arrive at our destination, you'll have 2 hours free to explore the archaeological site with a handy audioguide.
During the visit to the acropolis of Selinunte, you'll come across numerous temples that were once part of one of the most important cities of Ancient Greece. Gods such as Zeus, Hera or Apollo were worshipped in these buildings dating back to the 5th century BC. Moreover, thanks to the information panels, you'll discover the important rivalry that existed between the city of Segesta and Selinunte and the terrible battle fought between them for power.
Then, after 4 or 5 hours, we'll bring you back to the starting point.
