Tabernas Desert Jeep Tour

We'll meet at the BP gas station on Avenida Ricardo Fabregas. There, we'll board an off-road vehicle to begin a 4x4 tour of the Tabernas Desert.

In a few minutes we'll enter the landscapes of the Tabernas Desert Natural Park, characterised by rock formations caused by erosion, the so-called "badlands".

Throughout our tour, we’ll make several stops to gain an in-depth understanding of Tabernas’ geology. The climate is so extreme, with more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and less than 300 millimeters of rainfall, that it creates a landscape that is practically desert-like.

During the tour, we'll also learn the secrets of western movies. In fact, a large number of the movies shot in Tabernas belong to this genre.

The film director Sergio Leone chose these landscapes for many movies such as "Death had a Price" and "The Good, the Ugly and the Bad", starring Clint Eastwood. We'll reveal some anecdotes that took place during the filming of some scenes, with the desert landscape of Tabernas as the main character.

After approximately 2 hours, we'll return to the starting point.
