Having been picked up from your hotel in Sorrento at the scheduled time, we'll board a comfortable vehicle for the short drive to the picturesque town of Positano further down the Amalfi Coast.
As dusk slowly draws in, you'll reach a viewpoint from which you'll have spectacular views of the sunset over Positano, an image that you'll never forget.
Arriving in Positano itself, you'll enjoy 3 to 4 hours of free time in the quaint Italian town. You'll get to wander through narrow winding streets, climb up and down the emblematic stone staircases that characterise the hillside village and admire the brightly-coloured villas whose beauty is even greater in the splendour of their evening illuminations.
You can then take in the historic Church of Santa Maria Assunta, an important religious, cultural and architectural landmark, which dates back to at least the 11th century. The church's dome, covered in gleaming yellow, green and blue "majolica" tiles, is one of Positano's most iconic sights.
Additionally, you'll get to visit the typical shops selling traditional handicrafts, handmade sandals, and the famous limoncello, an Amalfi Coast speciality.
Lastly, we'll arrive at Sorrento after a total of 5 to 5.5 hours.
