At the Savannah Pirate and Treasure Museum, you'll discover the piratelife that once shaped this coastal city in Georgia, featuring real historical figures and a maritime story that will captivate you from start to finish.
Located in the City Market, the museum recounts the Golden Age of Piracy through various exhibits, showcasing a time when pirates marked a turning point in American history. Thanks to an extensive collection of 17th- and 18th-century naval artifacts, such as coins, weapons, and tools, you'll learn in detail about the lives these rogues led.
The museum has interactive exhibits, hyper-realistic wax figures, and narrations that will teach the whole family about pirates in Georgia's oldest city.
As a final touch, you can visit the Pirates’ Tavern to enjoy a cocktail if you wish.
The Savannah Pirate and Treasure Museum is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Please note that the last admission is at 5:15 pm.
