Our guided tour will start at the indicated time in Piazza della Rotonda, where we'll see the imposing Pantheon, a masterpiece of Roman architecture.
With its colossal dome and its famous central oculus, this ancient temple dedicated to all the gods is the best testimony to the building genius of Ancient Rome. Today, it also houses the tombs of great figures such as Raphael and some ancient Italian monarchs.
From here, we'll walk towards Piazza della Minerva and Largo di Torre Argentina, where we'll see archaeological ruins that will take us back to the golden age of the Roman Empire.
Our walk will take us to Piazza Mattei and Via del Portico d'Ottavia, the epicentre of Rome's Jewish Ghetto. We'll walk through its narrow streets while discovering the mark that this community has left in the Eternal City.
Finally, we'll stop in front of the impressive Portico d'Octavia, a monument that has stood the test of time and continues to tell the story of the Jewish legacy in Rome.
