On this boat tour along the north coast of São Miguel, we'll sail past caves, cliffs and two of the best surfing beaches in the Azores—a must on the Rabo de Peixe!

Tour Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Rabo de Peixe to start sailing north of São Miguel. All aboard!

On this first leg of the trip, we'll see two of the best surfing spots in the Azores: the beaches of Santa Bárbara and Monteverde. Their natural beauty, volcanic sand and impressive waves will enchant you.

Continuing on, we'll approach Ribeira Grande, one of the most important towns on the island. In this coastal area, we'll see the tea, tobacco and sugar cane plantations of São Miguel. Also, if we're lucky and if the conditions allow, we'll be able to take a swim in its crystal-clear waters.

We'll continue our journey towards the lighthouse of Ribeirinha. On this part of the trip, we'll sail among impressive caves sculpted by volcanic eruptions and visit the old port of Santa Iria. We'll also pass in front of Praia dos Moinhos beach, where you can swim and enjoy the calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point in Rabo de Peixe, where we'll end the activity after 3 hours.
