Welcome to the Museum of Illusions in Prague! By purchasing this ticket, you'll enjoy a 45-minute visit where you can take the funniest and most original photos.
Located in the heart of Prague's historic centre, this is the largest museum of optical illusions in the city. Get ready for photos and videos in which nothing is what it seems.
This is a truly unique experience, combining art with Czech history for an unforgettable adventure. You'll discover various artistic techniques, as the museum exhibits a variety of illusory art techniques, with works ranging from historical to modern trends by artists such as Patrick Hughes, Patrik Proško and others.
You'll also enjoy incredible interactive exhibits in which you can transform 2D images into 3D spaces, create light paintings and immerse yourself in augmented reality experiences. As well as that, you'll learn about the historical use of artistic illusions, exploring Czech history through captivating works of art depicting events such as the Swedish siege of Prague.
With the use of an audioguide in English, you'll also discover the art of illusion, with depictions of figures such as Franc Kafka, Bedřich Smetana, Nikola Tesla or Václav Havel, intertwining narration with visual wonder.
The Prague Museum of Illusions is open every day of the week from 9 am to 8 pm, with final admission at 7:30 pm. Please note that the final admission is 1 hour before closing.

The Museum of Illusions houses the award-winning Illusion Art Museum Prague (IAM), the first space in the Czech Republic dedicated to the art of optical illusion that has won several awards on Tripadvisor. Just 2 minutes from the Astronomical Clock, this exhibition combines historical techniques with contemporary pieces by artists such as Patrik Proško, Jonty Hurwitz, and Patrick Hughes, bringing iconic figures like Franz Kafka or Antonín Dvořák to life through optical illusions, kinetic art, and light installations.
This museum is a completely interactive and adapted experience. You can touch, explore, and photograph all the pieces. Plus, you'll have the help of guides and an audio guide in over 10 languages to understand everything that this exhibition has to offer.
