Have you ever been to the Algarve? On this catamaran cruise, we’ll sail along the coast of Portimão and see the famous Benagil Caves. We’ll also pass through the areas of Praia dos Caneiros, Carvoeiro, and Alfanzina, and enjoy a delicious brunch on board.

Welcome to southern Portugal! At the scheduled time, we’ll begin our catamaran tour along the Algarve coast, setting sail from Portimão Marina.
You’ll be welcomed on board with a welcome drink, choose from beer, wine, or sangria. Then, we’ll set off on our journey from Portimão to the Benagil Caves. Golden-sand beaches, sea caves, cliffs… This area certainly offers postcard-worthy scenery.
During this first part of the journey, we’ll pass by such iconic Algarve landmarks as Praia dos Caneiros, Carvoeiro, and Alfanzina, whose rugged cliffs contrast with the blue of the Atlantic.
We’ll continue sailing past the iconic Benagil Caves. These limestone sea caves are known for their natural skylights that let sunlight stream in, as if they were the windows of a temple.
After admiring the scenery of Benagil, we’ll anchor at a nearby beach, where you’ll have about 45 minutes of free time to take a dip in the sea. Next, a delicious brunch combining the best of breakfast and lunch will be served on board.
After recharging your energy, we’ll relax on the catamaran’s deck and begin the return journey to the departure marina, where we’ll conclude this 4-hour boat tour of the Algarve.
What's on the Menu?
The brunch served on board includes a buffet selection followed by a main dish.
Buffet
To start, you will enjoy a buffet including:
- Algarve-style carrots marinated in garlic, olive oil, lemon, and parsley
- Olives marinated in garlic, lemon, and oregano
- Mini codfish cakes
- Free-range chicken Piri-Piri skewers with homemade chili marinade
- Algarve gazpacho with tomato, bell pepper, cucumber, oregano, and olive oil
- Tuna spread with pickled red onion and chives
- Homemade toasts with olive oil
- Algarve-style Caprese salad with cherry tomatoes, fresh goat cheese from Alentejo, olive oil, and basil
- Algarve-style seasoned horse mackerel fillets poached with pickled onions and parsley-garlic gremolata with olive oil and lemon
- Carob sponge cake with orange zest.
Main Course
After the buffet, you may choose one of the following main dishes:
- Sardine tart with lemon cream cheese, roasted peppers, thyme, and olive bread toasts
- Mediterranean green wrap with free-range chicken strips, avocado, romaine lettuce, lemon cream cheese, and fresh herbs
- Mountain-style skewer with cured ham from Monchique, fresh goat cheese from Alentejo, and dried figs
- Mediterranean salad with chickpeas, tomato, cucumber, pickled red onion, cilantro, and a lemon and olive oil vinaigrette
- Vegan almond panna cotta with pomegranate and carob crumble.
Please note that drinks are not included.
Admission to Benagil Cave
On the day of the activity, you can book access to Benagil Cave for an additional 7EUR per person. This gives you the chance to enter the cave itself via a smaller vessel, for a closer and more immersive experience inside one of the Algarve's most iconic natural wonders.
