Ancient temples, Zen gardens, shogunal castles, and the majestic bullet train. Travel from Osaka to explore Kyoto's most iconic landmarks with this tour that combines the speed of the Shinkansen with a comprehensive guided visit in Spanish.
Day Trip Details
Early in the morning, you'll board the bullet train from Osaka to Kyoto. After a short ride on this famous high-speed train, you'll arrive in the former imperial capital. There, right outside the Hotel Keihan Kyoto Grande, your guide will be waiting to begin your adventure by bus.
Our first stop will be the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Because we'll start early, we'll be able to stroll along its paths in a unique tranquility before the crowds arrive.
Next, we'll head to the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), a Zen temple whose radiance reflected in the pond will leave you speechless. From there, we'll travel to Nijō Castle, the former residence of the shoguns, where you can admire its tatami rooms, gardens, and the curious "nightingale floors" that creak underfoot.
The next stop will be Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its enormous wooden terrace suspended on the mountain, offering unforgettable panoramic views of the city. After the visit, you'll have free time in the surrounding area to have lunch on your own and sample the local cuisine.
We'll end the day at the Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates that climb the hill. The guide will accompany you to this final stop and provide all the necessary information for your return trip by local transport to Kyoto Station, where you'll catch the bullet train back to Osaka.
The tour will conclude after approximately 12.5 hours.
