At the designated time, we'll meet at the Locanda Murales Winery, in Olbia, located in northeastern Sardinia, a fascinating site nestled in the mountains of Gallura.
After meeting our guide, we'll visit the winery, exploring the barrel room and the vineyards. You'll embark on a journey to discover the winemaking process—from the grape to the bottle, including the aging process, the fermentation of the must, and the refinement process of the product in the barrel. On this tour, we'll focus on Sardinian winemaking, shaped by factors like the soil, climate, and the influence of the sea.
The little ones can enjoy interacting with the farm animals on the estate, where they'll find chickens, geese, ducks, two donkeys, two very friendly goats, four lambs, two rabbits, and two Peruvian guinea pigs. They'll love it!
After finishing the tour, you'll participate in a tasting of three wines, paired with typical products from the area. Depending on availability, you'll be able to choose between nine varieties: Sentenzia, Su Soi Vermentino, Mirades, Lumenera, Faulas, Kariasa, Su Soi Cannonau, Arcanos, and Nativo. Children will be served a soda or a yogurt with a snack.
After 1.5 hours, we'll wrap up our tour of the Locanda Murales Winery.
