Description

We'll meet at the port of O Grove at the designated time and board the catamaran for our cruise along the Arousa Estuary, known as the Ría de Arousa.

Throughout the crossing, we'll sail by famous places like the A Illa de Arousa and Cambados, the capital of Albariño wine. Did you know that this municipality was awarded the title of European Wine City in 2017?

We'll also pass by the mussel, oyster and scallop farms, and make a stop at some of them. After admiring the beautiful coastal scenery of this estuary of the Rías Baixas, we'll enjoy a delicious seafood platter.

The menu includes a Galician empanada, brown crab, velvet crab, four crayfish, prawns, cockles and mussels. If you prefer, you can also choose a menu without seafood and have grilled meat instead. All this, of course, accompanied by Albariño wine, beer and soft drinks, and for dessert, a typical Santiago cake. Bon appetit!

Following lunch, we'll witness one of the most magical traditions of Galicia: the preparation of a queimada. We'll watch the ritual carried out to prepare this traditional drink, and then we'll taste it for ourselves accompanied by crema de orujo, a cream liquor.

After this experience, we'll return to the pier of O Grove, where we'll conclude the activity after a total of 2 hours.
